The brief

What does seventy five days of no excuses do to two people who already think they are disciplined?

Collin Skhoyimue, a footballer turned coach, and Braulio, running a studio, took on 75 Hard together in 2024 and filmed every day of it. No client, no brief, no budget.

— The Approach

One sitting, cut against the footage from the challenge.

Shot on a London court over one sitting, cut against the footage they captured on their phones through the challenge. The interview carries the story, the archive drops in as picture in picture so the viewer sees the day being described. Cut for flow rather than pace, so people finish their sentences. Restrained grade, skin first. Music sits under speech throughout.

— The Result

A 9:30 film and five vertical cuts from one master.

A nine and a half minute film and five vertical cuts, all built from one sitting. Less about the rules than about what the rules expose: stalling, environment, temptation, and the cost of starting again. The film is the origin story for how TRY42 now makes short form, a single edit room that produces the long form and the reels from the same locked master.
